Film photography lacks a built-in way to capture metadata like time, location, and exposure settings. We propose SceneSync, a mechanism that reattaches metadata to film photos by matching scanned frames with digital scene captures taken at the time of shooting. This approach preserves context, resolves index mismatches, and opens the door to metadata-aware analog photography.
